Doutta Galla Aged Services Ltd

Doutta Galla Aged Services is a community-based not-for-profit organisation that has been providing residential aged care across Melbourne's west and regional Victoria since 1991. They operate eight fully accredited homes in Avondale Heights, Footscray, St Albans, Shepparton, Kensington, Moonee Ponds, Sunshine, and Yarraville, with approximately 500 residents — nearly half of whom are in concessional or fully supported places. Services span permanent and respite residential care, memory support, palliative care, retirement living, and support at home through Home Care Packages and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme. The organisation is strongly multicultural, providing information and care in English, Greek, Italian, Chinese, and Vietnamese, and is a member of the Ethnic Communities' Council of Victoria. Lifestyle programmes include art and craft, exercise, music, community outings, film activities, cultural festivals, sensory and vegetable gardens, and a pet and farm animal visiting programme.
