Southern Cross Care Allora

Allora (Nursing Home) is a small residential aged care home run by Southern Cross Care Queensland at 29 Darling Street, Allora, in the Southern Downs region of Queensland's Darling Downs. The home's small scale allows for personal, specialised care, with meals cooked fresh onsite, shared activity spaces, landscaped gardens and country views. Professional staff provide specialised care including chronic disease management, dementia care, and palliative and end-of-life care. Southern Cross Care is a Catholic, not-for-profit organisation founded in 1979 by the Knights of the Southern Cross, today operating 17 residential aged care homes across Queensland, regional New South Wales and Victoria. Pastoral care, social activities and alfresco dining with BBQ facilities are also offered.
