Violet Town Nursing Home

Violet Town Nursing Home is a 64-bed community-based residential aged care facility located at 46 Cowslip St, Violet Town, Victoria, operated by Violet Town Bush Nursing Centre Inc. The facility offers four room styles including large and standard single rooms, partner rooms for two residents, and a dementia-specific special care room, with each room featuring its own lounge, dining area, kitchenette, and ensuite with a 24-hour nurse call system. Set in a rural landscape with three accessible gardens, raised vegetable beds, resident animals (including a goose, chickens, and a rooster), and a sound shell area for concerts and barbecues, the campus has a strong community feel. Respite care is available at both high and low levels, and an in-house Day Therapy Centre provides activities and socialisation for both residential and community members. Families are actively encouraged to join residents for meals and participate in activities at any time.
