Uniting Edinglassie Emu Plains is a purpose-built residential aged care home at 1-3 Emerald Street, Emu Plains NSW 2750, operated by Uniting, the social services arm of the Uniting Church. The facility comprises 5 separate households of up to 20 residents each across 3 storeys, using an innovative 'Household Living' model designed to empower residents to live with autonomy in a home-like environment. It was recognised in the 2022 UDIA NSW Development Awards for Excellence in the Aged Care category for its contemporary design. A Registered Nurse is on-site 24/7 alongside a range of allied health professionals, and the home can support people living with dementia and other high-care needs. The published Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) for a single ensuite room is $815,000, with a Daily Accommodation Payment alternative of $177.74 per day.
