Wongaburra Garden Settlement

Wongaburra (Wongaburra Garden Settlement) is a long-established, community-based not-for-profit aged care provider in the township of Beaudesert, Queensland, about an hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Created by the Beaudesert community and officially opened in August 1970, it offers all levels of residential care including dementia care based on Montessori principles, palliative care and respite, alongside home care and CHSP community services. Registered care staff are on duty 24 hours a day, and residents can access a wide range of allied health professionals on site. Residential room prices (Refundable Accommodation Deposits) range from approximately $350,000 to $650,000. Lifestyle features include landscaped gardens, an on-site hairdressing salon, a volunteer-run coffee shop, weekly BBQs, monthly live entertainment and fortnightly bus outings.
