Ozcare St Louise de Marillac

Ozcare St Louise de Marillac is a day respite centre at 8 Matilda Street, Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, operated by Ozcare — a Special Work of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland. It provides a supportive, friendly daytime environment for seniors and community members who feel isolated or lonely, set among landscaped gardens with an outdoor gazebo for BBQs and picnics. The centre runs group and individual activities — including gentle exercise, indoor and outdoor games, crafts, quizzes, concerts and excursions — alongside meals, transport and care support from trained staff, and offers a lending library of more than 1,000 books and DVDs. It operates under the Support at Home programme and provides access to allied health services for Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) clients. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
