Uniting AgeWell Latvian Community is a residential aged care facility located in Wantirna South, Victoria, originally established and operated by the Latvian Friendly Society before ownership transferred to Uniting AgeWell in June 2025. The home features stunning gardens and shares its extensive grounds with the Latvian Community Retirement Village, making it easier for residents to transition to higher-level care or maintain connections with loved ones. Care offerings include a dedicated 15-bed memory support unit staffed by Montessori-trained carers with access to a secure outdoor area and sensory Tovertafel technology, palliative care, and 24/7 on-site registered nursing. Allied health services including physiotherapy, podiatry, speech therapy, and dietitian support are available on-site, alongside a chaplain and an enriched lifestyle programme.
