Burnie Brae Day Respite

Burnie Brae is a community centre based at 60 Kuran Street, Chermside in North Brisbane, providing day respite and allied health services to older Australians. The centre offers Club Respite (centre-based day respite) with a range of social and recreational activities, fresh meals, and bus pickup and drop-off in selected areas. Supported outings to local attractions and in-home respite visits are also available for those who prefer to stay at home. A broad suite of allied health services is on-site, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, hydrotherapy, remedial massage, and podiatry. Funding is accepted through Support at Home (Home Care Packages), the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, NDIS, and private fee-paying arrangements.
