Kalyna Care Aged Care

Kalyna Care is a Ukrainian-inspired residential aged care home located in Delahey, Victoria, with a capacity of 144 residents across multiple wings including premium rooms with ensuites. Operated as a not-for-profit community organisation, the facility has been providing culturally-sensitive care since 1993, originally known as the Ukrainian Elderly People's Home. It offers residential, respite, dementia, and palliative care services, with many bilingual staff who speak Ukrainian, Croatian, Polish, and Spanish to support residents from European and Slavic backgrounds. The facility actively celebrates European cultural traditions including Ukrainian Easter and Christmas customs, features an on-site chapel, and maintains strong community connections with local Ukrainian organisations. Kalyna Care is fully accredited and has also achieved NDIS accreditation for living environment and medication administration.
