Bill Crawford Lodge is a centrally located, 30-bed residential aged care community in Ballarat, Victoria, operated by Grampians Health. The home is divided into two houses of 15 beds each, with eight single rooms with private ensuites, eight single rooms with a shared bathroom (but own toilet), and seven double rooms with shared ensuites. It offers long-term residential, palliative, short-term respite and dementia care, with a registered nurse managing care 24 hours a day and allied health services including dietetics and speech pathology. Standout features include light-filled atriums and open-plan spaces, secure gardens, a Montessori-based therapy program and a specialised Snoezelen sensory stimulus room. Fees can be paid via a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both.
