Marco Polo Unanderra Aged Care Centre is located at 66/70 Waples Rd in the quiet residential suburb of Unanderra, NSW, nestled against the Illawarra Escarpment and a short drive from Wollongong town centre. Operated by IRT, a not-for-profit, community-owned organisation with over 55 years of experience, the centre offers residential aged care, dementia care, and palliative care. A current refurbishment will add 48 new beds to the facility. All rooms include an ensuite bathroom, and residents are encouraged to personalise their space with their own furnishings. The centre features a café, hairdresser, landscaped gardens, and lounge areas, with care provided around the clock.
