Kaloma Home for The Aged

Kaloma Home for the Aged is a community-owned, not-for-profit aged care facility in Goondiwindi, Queensland, located next to the local golf course with generous gardens and outdoor spaces. Built in 1997, the home accommodates 80 residents across all single-occupancy ensuite rooms available in four sizes (24, 26, 28, and 42 square metres). It includes Brigalow Wing, an 18-bed dementia-specific secure wing with its own vibrant activities programme and raised garden beds. Care options span residential, respite, dementia-specific, palliative, and in-home care, with registered nurses endeavouring to be on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Allied health services including physiotherapy, speech therapy, dietetics, podiatry, and mental health support are available on site.
