Touriandi Lodge

This facility provides residential and respite care, including a secure area specifically designed for residents living with dementia. It fosters a warm, home-like atmosphere in the rural town of Bingara, NSW, located by the Gwydir River. The focus is on supporting residents to age in place, with all meals prepared on-site and individualised activity programs tailored to personal interests. Residents are encouraged to continue familiar activities, explore new ones, and participate in community functions. Established in 1992 by the local community, it operates as a not-for-profit organisation overseen by a voluntary board.
