Home Assist Secure is a Queensland Government program that provides advice, referrals, and financial subsidies for minor home maintenance, repairs, and modifications. It is designed to help people aged 60 or older, or those with a disability, continue living safely and independently in their own homes. The program covers handyperson work, qualified trades work, yard maintenance, minor modifications such as grab rails, smoke alarm installation, and minor security work. It is not a residential aged care facility — it is a community-based home support scheme administered through local service providers across Queensland.
