Murray Vale Shalem is a 60-bed residential aged care facility in Lavington, a suburb of Albury NSW, set in landscaped gardens and built entirely on one level for easy access and mobility. The facility includes a 20-bed memory support unit called Shalem, which provides specialised dementia care using the Montessori Method with activities running from 7:30am to 7:30pm seven days a week. The main building offers 40 single rooms with ensuite and direct garden access, while Shalem provides 20 single ensuite rooms in a calm, secure environment. Staff deliver 24-hour care including registered and enrolled nurses, a physiotherapist, and an occupational therapist. Residential respite care is also available, and the facility is within walking distance of medical services, pharmacies, and a major shopping centre.
