Uniting AgeWell Hobart AgeWell Centre

Hobart AgeWell Centre is a community-based day program and wellness hub operated by Uniting AgeWell, the aged care service of the Uniting Church in Australia with over 70 years of experience. The centre focuses on social connection, independence and engagement for older adults through group activities, hobby and special interest groups, exercise classes and community outings. It offers centre-based day respite services for carers who need a break, with subsidised services available for eligible clients aged 65+ (or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people). The centre provides a welcoming space for social connection with transport to community events, cafes and places of interest. Services are available through referral via My Aged Care or through private self-funded access.
