De Paul Villa is an Ozcare residential aged care facility in the heart of Southport on the Gold Coast, operated by the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland. It offers permanent residential care, short-term residential respite, dementia-friendly care in secure wings, and accommodation for couples. Registered nurses are on duty at all times, providing 24-hour emergency nursing care, medication administration, wound and stoma care, and specialised palliative and dementia care. The home is known for its family atmosphere, home-cooked meals served five times a day, and a busy social programme that includes a community bus service to local clubs and a monthly Happy Hour. It sits within a broader community encompassing Mary Immaculate Church, schools, childcare and the De Paul Manor Estate retirement community, and has previously won the Commonwealth Government's Better Practice in Aged Care Award.
