Dr Parry Memorial Homes Inc.

Dr Parry Memorial Homes Inc. is a not-for-profit charitable organisation based in Temora, NSW, providing affordable independent living accommodation for seniors and over-55s for more than 50 years. The organisation operates two properties: 24 single-bedroom self-care units in Haig Street rented at below-market rates, and Shipton Villas — a 15-unit two-bedroom retirement village in Grey Street for over-55s under a licence-to-occupy arrangement. Founded in 1967 as a partnership between the Temora RSL and APEX Club to house retired ex-service men and women, it has since evolved into a broader community housing provider registered as a Benevolent Organisation with the ACNC. All board members are drawn from the Temora community, and the charity is committed to long-term affordable housing for the district's ageing population.
