Yallambee Lodge is a 40-bed residential aged care home located at 1 Binalong Street, Cooma NSW, operated by Respect Aged Care since April 2024 after previously being run by Snowy Monaro Regional Council. Originally built and opened in 1995, the home is arranged across five separate houses, each accommodating eight residents and featuring its own lounge room, dining room, and kitchen. All 40 rooms are private with ensuites, comprising 24 standard rooms (approximately 12m²) and 16 superior rooms (approximately 14m²), with features including underfloor heating, built-in wardrobes, and a lockable safe. The facility offers residential aged care, palliative care, and booked respite, supported by 24/7 registered nursing and a dedicated lifestyle team delivering a varied activities calendar including community outings. The home also has live-in pets and accessible raised garden beds.
