Matthew Flinders Home is a not-for-profit residential aged care facility in Port Lincoln, South Australia, founded in 1981 and recently expanded with major renovations completed in October 2022 that added 26 beds. The facility accommodates residents in single ensuite rooms, deluxe rooms, and shared twin rooms, with refundable accommodation deposits up to $225,000 available. Services include on-site physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, and speech pathology, plus a day centre program and home support packages. The home operates a secure dementia care wing (Waratah) and emphasises a lifestyle-focused approach with diverse activities including social outings, exercise classes, gardening, and cooking groups. A state-of-the-art nursing training facility opened in October 2023 in partnership with the University of South Australia.
