Pennwood Aged Care Services

Pennwood Aged Care Services is a not-for-profit aged care organisation with three locations across South Australia (Pennington, Kings Park, and McLaren Vale) founded in 1993. Specialising in culturally safe, trauma-informed care for Serbian and Eastern European communities, the organisation welcomes people from all backgrounds and provides residential aged care, respite care, transition care programme (TCP), and in-home support services. Pennwood Village features eight houses with 80 beds in spacious, well-maintained grounds with gardens, café, gymnasium, chapel, and activity facilities. The organisation emphasises person-centred care, cultural and linguistic diversity, and holistic wellbeing, with staff-led art therapy, sound therapy, and regular community outings. All residents receive 24/7 nursing care, allied health support, and access to specialised services including dementia and palliative care.
