Assisi Centre Aged Care is a not-for-profit, 150-bed residential aged care facility located in Rosanna, Victoria, founded in 1992 to serve Melbourne's ageing Italian community. The facility provides residential, respite, dementia, and palliative care, with specialised dementia support delivered using the Montessori method in the renovated St Claire Memory Support Unit. Assisi places strong emphasis on Italian culture, with Italian-speaking staff actively recruited, authentic Italian cuisine prepared on-site by a resident chef, and a comprehensive Catholic pastoral care programme including weekly Mass, daily Rosary, and access to a historic 1920s chapel on the same grounds.
