David Berry Hospital

David Berry Hospital is a government-operated hospital located at 85 Tannery Road, Berry NSW 2535, providing rehabilitation and specialist palliative care for people in the Shoalhaven region. Opened in 1909 following a bequest by local landowner and agriculturalist David Berry, it is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). The hospital also offers allied health, Aboriginal health, medical imaging, and infection management services. Its palliative care and rehabilitation services are scheduled to relocate to the redeveloped Shoalhaven Hospital upon completion in 2026, which will feature single patient rooms with ensuites, family rooms, and expanded 24/7 medical support.
